Our 80 seat cinema uses the very latest in HD projection and Dolby Atmos surround sound equipment and shows films throughout the year. We screen everything from the children’s modern favourites to the old classics and regularly book pre-DVD release films.

The Meridian Centre is a multi-functional building used for community hires such as parties, wedding receptions and fund-raising events. It is also used as an arts centre with live music, theatre, comedy and cinema.

We offer multi-purpose function rooms on both floors of the building, the downstairs function room is equipped with a licensed bar and permanent stage, making it ideal for musical performances, award presentations and comedy nights.

The Meridian Centre is run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly running the facility for the community, we need more people to share the load and get involved and bring new ideas of how we can give the local community a facility to be proud of. Please feel free to pop in any time the centre is open, one of our volunteers will be more than willing to speak to you and show you around.
